As a celebration of a year of dedication and teamwork, we were lucky enough to get invited to participate in an end of the year, Christmas celebration in Napa with our favorite wedding and event partner, Lauren Hutton of Sydney Camille Events. If you follow us on Instagram (@handjflowers), you will likely notice that we love working with Lauren and her amazing team, and this holiday party was no different.
The setting for our Christmas party was a stunning Air BnB in Napa, an international hub for weddings and events, and a place we always love visiting. Lauren brought some of the best vendors in the business on board for the fun, including Stephanie Hopkins Photography, Standard Event Rentals, and Carrie Dove Catering. We also were fortunate enough to team up with fellow florist, Just a Girl and Her Flowers, to bring the holiday cheer! We love working and collaborating with other florists, and had such a blast combining inspiration with Jacquie to create a beautiful setting for the day.
The first step to making any Christmas party a success, is the tree! We added tons of beautiful decor items to this tree, focusing on reds and golds, along with lots of fun, festive ornaments. Nothing says Christmas quite like a fireplace, and we decked this one out with a fresh garland, lights, ornaments and more to truly bring that Christmas feeling to life.
In the lush backyard of the home, we set up our lounge, complete with a stunning, statement floral piece in a gold compote vase. The bar was another focal area in the garden, and we added a second garland, along with a floral installation on the stunning bar back. Who wouldn't want to grab a holiday drink and lounge with their friends in this relaxing spot!?
To finish the evening, we enjoyed a delicious meal at our Christmas table. Of course, we needed to continue the garland theme, and we added warmth with taper candles and even more holiday decor. The place settings were simply perfection, an ideal way to enjoy a holiday meal with friends. We also enjoyed some delicious charcuterie put
together by Lizzie, one of Lauren's talented team members, and a hot chocolate board by Christa, Lauren's lead assistant coordinator. Lauren's group of ladies definitely knows how to bring the cheer and fun when it comes to a party!
